    Description

Rabbit Rampage Bugs Bunny Production Cel (Warner Brothers, 1955). "I have a good mind to tell the Warner Brothers about you!" says Bugs Bunny to his off-screen antagonist. This is a magnificent hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of Bugs Bunny from a classic Warner Brothers short directed by Chuck Jones and written by Mike Maltese and you can see this exact scene around the 2:00 mark. It's an unbelievable, full figure image of Bugs standing 6" tall with a streak of yellow that has been painted on his back. This sequel to Duck Amuck, Bugs is the victim of Elmer Fudd's off-screen hijinks. Warner Brothers studio routinely threw out art used to make their cartoons, so vintage production cels of this quality from classic ‘50s Looney Tunes cartoon like this are very rare. The cel is over a print background for presentation purposes. The art is in a 19" x 16" frame under Plexiglas with a mat opening of 12" x 9. Minor handling and condition is Very Good. Frame sold as-is.
