DescriptionQuick Draw McGraw "Talky Hawky" Title Card/Cel and Camera Sheet Group of 2 (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1960s). "Now hold on there!" Here's a one-of-a-kind title card/cel from the "Talky Hawky" episode of Quick Draw McGraw, when food runs scarce, Quick Draw guards a chicken ranch from egg thieves . The episode initially aired on 11/19/60. Quick Draw is a well-intentioned cowboy horse and a somewhat dim sheriff of a non-specified town set in the Old West. His sidekick, Baba Looey is a Mexican burro and Quick Draw's deputy. This title card was hand-painted on 12 field acetate and paired with a hand-painted Master background. Title cards also known as a title sequence for a television series have routinely played a central role in establishing the show's identity. Repeated at the beginning of every new and rebroadcast episode, usually with limited changes over the course of the series' run, they can become highly memorable. Theme music played during the sequence are often remembered decades later. Included with the title card is the original matching camera sheet. A camera sheet (also referred to as an exposure sheet, dope sheet or X-sheet) is a traditional animation tool that allows an animator to organize their thinking and give instructions to the camera operator on how the animation is to be shot. Camera sheets and title cards are arguably very rare making this a unique opportunity to acquire two rare items in one lot! Overall condition is Very Good.
