Yumiko Igarashi Candy Candy Illustration Original Art (Undated). Yumiko Igarashi made a name for herself as a pioneer in shoujo-style manga tailored to young girls. Illustrated here is the titular character from Candy Candy, one of the most famous examples of the shoujo style. Ink over graphite and colored pencils on animation paper measuring 15" x 10.2". Yumiko Igarashi est la mangaka qui a participé au développement du manga de style shojo (BD pour filles) au Japon. Une légende connue pour son travail sur Candy Candy, son œuvre majeure, qui a depuis fortement influencé le style shojo. Récompensée par le prix Kodansha en 1977 pour son œuvre. Ici proposé, un très beau portrait de Candy exécuté par l'artiste au crayon graphite, encre et crayons de couleur sur papier d'animation mesurant 38 x 26 cm. Signé en bas à droite. En Excellente Condition.
