Ye Olden Days Minnie Mouse Production Drawing (Walt Disney, 1933).
"NEVER! NEVER ! NEVER!" says Princess Minnie as she slaps the Prince of Poopapadoo (Dippy Dawg) to refuse his hand in marriage. The king responds "She acts like a fantastic, lock her in the attic." This is an outstanding 12 field, 2-peghole animation drawing of Minnie being taken away to the attic by the King's Royal Guards with her Lady in Waiting assistant Clarabelle Cow behind her. You can see this image around the 2:38 mark into the short. This Mickey Mouse fan favorite short was directed by Bert Gillett and released on 6/24/33. Graphite with red highlights. Great four character images of 4" - 5". Amazing detail. The drawing is in a frame of 26.5" x 15.5". A screen grab print of this exact scene is in the framed set up. #56 is in the bottom right corner of the drawing. Frame is sold as-is. Mat opening for the drawing is 12" x 10". Minor handling. Very Good condition.
