Ye Olden Days Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1933) CGC-certified as Genuine.Wandering minstrel Mickey has just won the hand of his Lady Fair, Princess Minnie, in this original 12 field 2-peghole production drawing from the Golden Age of Animation. Burt Gillett directed this fan-favorite short, which was first shown in theaters on 4/8/1933. In this scene from near the end of the short, Mickey has just defeated his rival Goofy, and is getting ready for his reward, a kiss from Minnie as they both ride his donkey; it can be seen in online viewings at about the 8:04 mark. The drawing has been certified as genuine by CGC, which does not assign grades to animation artwork. The pegholes are reinforced, and there is a small dark smudge near the notation 56 along the bottom edge, but overall condition is Fine.
