Description
Woodland Café Grasshopper Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1937). This is an original production drawing of the bass-playing grasshopper who is about to shoo away a couple of smaller bugs who were chewing on his leafy instrument. Wilfred Jackson directed this Silly Symphony short, which was released to theaters on 3/13/37. This nicely detailed piece has a large image measuring 7.75" x 5.5" in graphite with green and red pencil on 12 field, 5-peghole animation paper, and numbered 46 in the lower right corner. There are some erasures on the image and the paper shows minor handling wear. Condition is Fine.More information about Walt Disney Studios - Silly Symphonies.
