    Description

Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day Tigger and Winnie Animation Drawings Sequence of 4 (Walt Disney, 1968). "The wonderful thing about Tiggers, Tiggers are wonderful things, their tops are made out of rubber, their bottoms are made out of springs!" Outstanding sequence of four 16 field animation drawings from the very first time Tigger meets Winnie the Pooh. This is from the famous "Tigger Song" sequence. Three great drawings of Tigger (numbered 58, 66, and 71), and one with Winnie the Pooh sitting and watching his performance (#71). This is from scene 216. This was the only Winnie the Pooh film to win an Academy Award. It was directed by Woolie Reitherman and released on 12/20/68. Animation drawings for the Winnie theatrical shorts are very rare; these are from the hand of the great Milt Kahl. Great images of Tigger done in graphite with blue pencil highlights, in nice images measuring 6" - 7". Winnie the Pooh watching his performance is 5" with red highlights. This is a key scene in Winnie the Pooh history. Minor handling and edge wear. Fine condition.
