Winnie the Pooh and Friends Book Illustrations by John Kurtz Original Art Group of 2 (Walt Disney, c. 1990s). Nice pair of ink and watercolor double-page illustrations from a Disney Winnie the Pooh storybook. The first two-page spread features Owl, Christopher Robin, Eeyore, Rabbit, Kanga, Piglet, and Pooh standing by a small "hunny tree" (with pots of honey hanging from the branches) as Tigger and Roo look on from the side. The art is on Bristol board measuring 19.5" x 11.17"; the image size is approximately 15" x 7.5", leaving room in the upper left for text. The second illustration has Pooh climbing in bed, only to find Eeyore singing a sad (and off-key) tune; the image measures 15.25" x 7.5", with space for text in the upper left. Board size is 19.5" x 11.75". Both pieces are signed as "Kurtz." Minor handling and edge wear; Very Good condition.Auction Info
