Wile E. Coyote and The Road Runner Illustration by Chuck Jones Original Art (Warner Brothers, c. 1990s). Chuck Jones brought Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner to the big screen for the first time in 1949, in the short Fast and Furry-ous. This duo would go on to become one of Chuck Jones' favorite two characters to go back to. His last short with these two was in 1994, a span of 45 years. This is a masterpiece from a true legend of animation: a Chuck Jones original watercolor painting of Wile E. Coyote trying to sneak over a cliff to catch the Road Runner (we all know this will never happen!). It is on Fine Art acid free paper measuring 15" x 11". This is one of the most interesting Jones watercolor paintings we have seen in some time, with a stunning array of color; Wile E. is an impressive 9". Matted with an opening of 15.5" x 11.5" and framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 25.5" x 22". The artwork is hand-signed by Mr. Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002). A Linda Jones COA is on the back of the frame. Frame is sold as-is. Artwork condition is Very Good.
