Wile E. Coyote and Bugs Bunny Animation Drawings Signed by Chuck Jones (Warner Brothers, c. 1960s). Here is a pair of original production drawings of Wile E. Coyote and Bugs Bunny drawn and signed by legendary Warner Brothers director Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002). Wile E. is from the 1961 short Lickety Splat and can be seen about the 1:19 minute mark of the cartoon. Bugs is from Hare Breadth Hurry, released in 1963 and can be seen at the very end of the short. Both drawings are side by side in a common frame with two mat openings measuring 8" x 11", in a 17.75" x 34" frame. They are exceptional three-quarter poses measuring approximately 7.5" tall. Wile E. is graphite with red pencil highlights and Bugs is graphite with the parting line "The moral is -- Never get cut off in the middle of a long-distance fall." written beside him. These are two fantastic drawings by the man credited with the creation of Wile E. Coyote. Both drawings show some minor handling wear; otherwise, condition is Very Good.
