Description

Who Framed Roger Rabbit Bongo the Gorilla Signed by Andreas Deja (Walt Disney/Amblin, 1988). "What do you think you're doing, chump?" Eddie follows Marvin Acme to Jessica's dressing room and tries to see what they're talking about, only to be caught by Bongo the Gorilla. Bongo served as the bouncer for the Ink and Paint Club and only let patrons in if they knew the password, though he also looked out for other toons performing at the club. He is a minor character in the film animated by Disney Legend Andreas Deja and Tom Sito. The large, expressive drawing is rendered in graphite with color pencil and takes up most of the 16 field 3-peghole page at 16'' x 10.75'', noted 30-2 and 44 in the lower right. Bongo has been signed by Andreas Deja, who notably took on the role of supervising animator for many of the most memorable characters from the Disney Renaissance and beyond, including Gaston, Jafar, Scar, King Triton, Lilo, and more! This piece of Who Framed Roger Rabbit is in Very Good condition with only light edge and handling wear.
