Description
Who Framed Roger Rabbit Baby Herman Animation Drawings by Dino Athanassiou Sequence of 6 (Walt Disney/Stardust, c. 1988). Here's a fantastic sequence of six animation drawings from the "Maroon Cartoon" beginning sequence of "Somethin's Cookin'," starring Roger Rabbit and Baby Herman. It is seen at the very beginning of this ground-breaking film at the 1:59 time stamp. These are tie-downs. Tie-downs, which can also be referred to as clean-ups, depending on the studio or animator, are for creating a smoother clean line motion before coloring in the frames. The finished animation will be copied onto cels or transferred into a computer for further processing. These stunning little beauties were rendered in graphite and blue pencil on 16 field animation paper by Dino Athanassiou at Stardust Pictures in London. Athanassiou has often been called upon by larger studios like Disney, Warner Bros, DreamWorks, and Hanna-Barbera to help complete complicated scenes like this one. The drawings come with a Stardust Pictures COA. It's an incredible sequence of production art. In Very Good condition, with minor handling.Auction Info
