DescriptionWhat's Opera, Doc Elmer Fudd Layout Drawing (Warner Brothers, 1957). "Be vewy quiet... I'm hunting wabbits" says Elmer as Siegfried in the beginning of this classic Chuck Jones-directed theatrical short. In Jerry Beck's great book, The Fifty Greatest Cartoons, this cartoon was voted number one. This is a rare layout drawing of Elmer in a running sequence, with two images measuring 2" and 5". The number 60 is written in the top margin, and 7 in the bottom right corner. Art is in graphite on 12 field animation paper. This is from the hand of animation legend, and director of this short, Mr. Chuck Jones (1912-2002). Housed in a 17" x 16" mat, with an opening size of 12" x 10". Minor handling wear. Very Good condition.
