    Description

    Water Babies Pan Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1935). This Silly Symphony short was directed by Wilfred Jackson and released on 5/11/35. The short was so popular that a sequel, Merbabies was released in 1938. This is a magnificent pan drawing of all the Water Babies on the backs of the Swan and her family. They are transporting the Water Babies to land. This magnificent animated scene can be found around the 2:46 mark into the short. There are 27 water babies, the Swan, and four baby swans in this amazingly detailed animation drawing. Art is in graphite with red, yellow and blue pencil highlights. The pan drawing is in a Plexiglas-front frame measuring 29" x 16", with a mat opening of 22" x 9". Frame is sold as-is. Artwork condition is Very Good condition.
