    Description

Walt Disney's Lady Page 4-5 Painting Original Art (Walt Disney/Simon and Schuster, 1955). Just after the release of the movie, Lady got her own Little Golden Book (#D42). The inside title page of the book reads "Pictures by The Walt Disney Studios, Adapted by Samuel Armstrong". This two page production ready layout features original gouache on Bristol board images for pages 4 and 5. The art is trimmed and affixed to another sheet of Bristol board with paste-up text. The double-page image area measures 12.5" x 8". As the book actually adapts the story, it co-stars Tramp as well, with many images and scenes from the beloved movie that had not yet been released in theaters. Matted to 20.25" x 16", the page has slight tanning and handling, with some pinholes in the corners and glue residue and minor stains on the margins. Overall in Fine condition. Comes with a copy of the book.
