Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse Painting by Paul Wenzel (Walt Disney, c. 1990s-2000s). Paul Wenzel worked at Walt Disney Studios for 42 years as a designer/illustrator for the Motion Picture Advertising Department. He was chosen in 1968 to paint Walt Disney's portrait for the US 6 Cent Commemorative Stamp after Walt's death in 1966. He has worked on and painted over 100 Disney one sheet theatrical posters for studio film releases. This is an outstanding one-of-a-kind oil and graphite painting on canvas of Walt and his most famous creation, Mickey Mouse. The canvas is stretched to 16" x 20" and is unframed, hand-signed in the bottom right corner. Artwork by Mr. Wenzel of Walt Disney is highly sought after! Very Good condition.
