    Description

Virgil Ross Hair-Raising Hare Inspired Bugs Bunny and Gossamer Illustration (Warner Brothers, undated). "I'll bet you monsters lead in-teresting lives!" Legendary animator Virgil Ross recreates a classic scene from the 1946 Looney Tunes short, where Bugs distracts Gossamer the monster by pretending to be a manicurist. "Now let's dip our little patties in the water!" The drawing is in graphite over blue pencil with added color pencils/crayon on a sheet of 12 field animation paper, with image sizes of 6.5" and 9". Signed in the lower right. Fine condition.
