    Description

Virgil Ross - Daffy Duck and Porky Pig Drawing (Warner Brothers, c. 1990s). Daffy has a hard time convincing "Friar Tuck" Porky that he is Robin Hood, in this scene inspired by the Chuck Jones-directed theatrical short, Robin Hood Daffy (1958). Artist Virgil Ross was a long-time animator for Warner Brothers, Hanna-Barbera, Filmation, and a few other studios, with a career that stretched back to the 1930s. He worked on everything from Oswald the Rabbit to Scooby-Doo, as well as fan-favorites like Star Trek: The Animated Series and The New Adventures of Batman. This is a signed original drawing by Virgil Ross on 12 field animation paper, with images sizes of 7". Fine condition.
