    Description

Virgil Ross - Bugs Bunny Drawing Original Art (Warner Brothers, c. 1990s). This very special grouping of Bugs Bunny drawings is based on the 1946 cartoon Rhapsody Rabbit. Virgil Ross (1907 - 1996) was one of the animators on that production, and he also animated with Friz Freleng's unit more than 230 other cartoons. Later he began to create hand-painted limited edition cels, as well as one-of-a-kind drawings of the Looney Tunes characters. This drawing highlights Mr. Ross's ability to express the many varied moods and expressions of his character. There are seven images, five of which are full-figure. Sizes are 4.75" to 7.25". The model sheet is drawn on 16 field 5-peghole animation paper. It is signed on the lower right hand aspect. Condition Fine.
