Virgil Ross - Bugs Bunny 4-Image Drawing Original Art (Warner Brothers, c. 1990s).
"Eh... what's up, Doc?" Bugs Bunny classic greeting is sure to come to mind with this sequenced drawing of Bugs answering a telephone. This fun drawing was created by longtime Warner Brothers animator, Virgil Ross, known for his action and dance sequences and funny facial expressions. Several of the cartoons he worked on were nominated for Academy Awards, and Mr. Ross himself was given the prestigious Winsor McCay Award in 1988. He spent time at several other studios, most notably Hanna-Barbera and Filmation. Mr. Ross began releasing hand-painted Limited Edition cels of his famous Looney Tunes scenes as part of the "Master's Collection" cels sold at Warner Bros. Studio Stores and animation galleries. This piece is similar to Mr. Ross' long sold out "Wrong Number" limited edition cel. The signed four-image drawing is on 16 field animation paper, with image sizes of 7". Fine condition.
