    Description

Vintage Racial Stereotype Cartoon Storyboard Group of 8 (c. 1940s). We originally thought these to be from Coal Black and de Sebben Dwarfs but recent information tells us it's not. Stylistically, the art resembles the Walter Lance cartoon Scrub Me Mama With a Boogie Beat, but no scenes from that cartoon match the drawings; these are either rejected scenes from Scrub Me Mama, or perhaps scenes from an unproduced cartoon. Eight storyboard frames. Graphite and color pencil on paper, each storyboard has an image area of 6" x 4". Some paper aging; otherwise they average Excellent condition. From the Howard Greber Collection.
