Uncle Tom's Cabana Little Eva Animation Drawing (MGM, 1947). The infamous Red Hot plays the role of Little Eva in this politically incorrect (but very funny) Tex Avery cartoon that was released on 5/8/43. The story updates Uncle Tom's Cabin as a modern New York nightclub starring Red Hot Little Eva, with evil mortgage holder Simon LeGree filling in for the Wolf. This amazing full-body graphite image of Little Eva measures 7" tall and can be seen at the 2:59 mark. This was Avery's second Uncle Tom's Cabin parody, having worked on one years prior when at Warner Brothers. This film was Red Hot's fourth appearance. The art is matted and framed under glass with a mat opening size of 9" x 11", and in a 16.5" x 17.5" frame. She is truly an iconic Avery character and desirable to collectors in more ways than one.
