    Description

Uncle Tom's Cabaña Layout/Character Study Drawing (MGM, 1947). Tex Avery directed his second parody of Uncle Tom's Cabin in this short. He had done one earlier at Warner Brothers, the 1937 short Uncle Tom's Bungalow. This is a layout/character study clean-up drawing of Uncle Tom and Simon Legree. Preston Blair was one of the animators on this politically incorrect short, utilizing one of his "Red Hot" girls. Nice character study images of 5" and 6". Graphite on 12 field animation paper. Minor handling and edge wear. Good condition. .
