Description

Two-Gun Mickey Mickey Mouse and Peg-Leg Pete Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1934). Pair of original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings featuring cowboy Mickey and bad-guy Pete, from the short directed by Ben Sharpsteen and released on 12/15/34. Mickey is seen hanging from a tree root; this from near the end of the short, at the 8:28 mark. Pete is shown holding up a large log that Minnie had been using to cross a gap; this is seen at the 5:19 mark. Both drawings are in graphite and red pencil. Mickey has an image size of about 4", and is numbered 119 in the lower right, while Pete has a size of 5.25" (including his red-penciled legs), and is numbered 44. Both drawings are in Fine condition with light handling wear.
