Tweety Bird Drawing by Robert McKimson (Warner Brothers, c. 1960s-70s). That little caged creature who thought he saw a pussy cat (He did! He did see a "puddy tat!") is known as a Tweety Bird. Tweety's first cartoon with Sylvester, Tweety Pie (1947) won an Oscar for Best Animated Short Film, and thus began one of the most famous duos in cartoon history. Although usually associated with directors Robert Clampett and Friz Freleng, here's a great Tweety drawing by legendary animation director Robert McKimson (1910 - 1977). The art is in graphite on a sheet of 12 field 3-peghole animation paper, with a full-figure image measuring 4" x 6.75". A photocopied Letter of Authenticity from Robert McKimson Jr. is included. Very Good condition with minor handling wear.
