Description
Tugboat Mickey Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1940). Captain Mickey rings the bell and calls for his deck hands Donald and Goofy, in this original production drawing from the theatrical short directed by Clyde Geronimi and released on 4/26/40. This cartoon served a one of the first to feature the new look for Mickey Mouse created by the legendary animator Fred Moore. Mickey's overall image measures 5" x 3.75" rendered in graphite with blue and red highlights on 12 field, 5-peghole animation paper, and numbered 12 in the lower right corner. It's a well centered full-figure image of the iconic mouse from a rollicking Disney classic. It's in an 18" x 16" frame under Plexiglas with a mat window of 12" x 9.5".
