Description

Tugboat Mickey Goofy Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1940). "Gawrsh! Steam's low!" Goofy, Donald, and Mickey jump into action when they hear a distress signal on the radio. Goofy mans the boiler, and he discovers that the tugboat is running low on steam. In response, he attempts to add more coal to the boiler, but this simple task turns out to be harder than expected when the boiler's door just won't stay open! This image of Goofy depicts him as he realizes he needs to add more coal to the boiler, and it can be found at about the 2:53 mark of the short. This drawing is full of personality, and it features a large image of Goofy measuring about 7" x 7". The drawing is created with graphite and colored pencil on 12 field, 5-peghole animation paper, and it is labeled in its lower right corner with C87-A. The condition of this fantastic drawing is Good to Very Good, with minor handling and edge wear, some minor creasing and smudging away from the image, and age-related toning.
