    Description

Trader Mickey Mickey Mouse and Native Chief Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1932). Mickey and Pluto are captured by a tribe of cannibals, but Mickey avoids becoming a meal with the help of musical instruments, in this early short, directed by Dave Hand. Here, Mickey is playfully poking the belly of the chief (wearing a corset for a crown), who had just swallowed a harmonica. This delightful production drawing is in graphite, measures 5" x 6" on 12 field, 2-peghole animation paper, and is numbered 39 in the bottom right corner. The piece shows minor handling; otherwise Condition is Fine.
