    Tom Wood Wynken Blynken and Nod Good Housekeeping Original Art (Walt Disney, 1938). This beautiful Silly Symphony short was directed by Graham Heid, based on the poem by Eugene Field, and made extensive use of Disney's new multiplane camera. This is original Tom Wood artwork created for the July of 1937 Good Housekeeping Disney Page. This artwork appeared almost a full year before the short came out and shows early character designs noticably different from what appears in the final film. This artwork appears on page 131 in the book Walt Disney's Mickey and the Gang - Classic Stories in Verse: Vintage Magazine Art 1934 - 1944". This original Tom Wood illustration is easily one of the most impressive Good Housekeeping Disney pages we have seen. It's in a large frame of 27" x 36 with a mat opening of 17" x 26". Condition is Very Good. Frame is sold as-is.
