    Description

    Tom Wood Good Housekeeping May 1939 "Goofy and Wilbur" Illustration (Walt Disney. 1939). Well Gawrsh! This is an incredible find for a Goofy collector! Tom Wood supplied the art for the Good Housekeeping magazine "Goofy and Wilbur" page, based on the cartoon short of the same name. He used the cartoon for reference so some panels, this one included, look almost identical to the animated frames. This is preliminary artwork for panel #2 from that page. The finished page was reprinted on page 199 of Gemstone Publishing's Walt Disney's Mickey and Gang Classics Stories In Verse. This trimmed artwork is graphite on paper with an image area of 7.75" x 6.5". In Fine condition.
