    Tom and Jerry Little Golden Book Illustration by Harvey Eisenberg (MGM, 1951). Tom and Jerry made their first Little Golden Book appearance in this very book, in 1951. It's rare original illustrated panel from the hand of Harvey Eisenberg (1911 -1995). This is gouache on trimmed board measuring 5" x 6", and appears on the second page of the story which starts with "What a Day!" he cried to Tuffy. Mr. Eisenberg also illustrated many of the Tom and Jerry comic book stories. This comes with with an original copy of the 1951 Tom and Jerry Little Golden Book in which it appears. There is some minor handling and edge wear; otherwise, condition is Very Good.
