    Tom and Jerry Butch Cat Production Cel (Hanna-Barbera, c.1940-1950s).
    Butch Cat, was first seen in the 1941 Hanna-Barbera short, The Ally Cat. The next time we see Butch is in the 1943 Tom and Jerry short, Baby Puss. Butch would appear in 16 Tom and Jerry shorts through the 50s. This is an animation drawing of Butch. The artwork was created using graphite on 12 field animation paper. The piece is in a 17" x 15.75" frame under Plexiglas with an opening of 10.75" x 9.5". The frame is sold as-is. This is a wonderful piece of vintage animation with the character full figure and centered on the paper. Butch measures 5" tall. This is actual working production art and will show normal usage, minor handling, and edge wear; otherwise, overall condition is Very Good.
