Max Hare holds a big box of firecrackers and Toby Tortoise looks on with glee in this pair of original 12 field 5-peghole animation drawings from the Silly Symphony short directed by Wilfred Jackson. It was released to theaters on 8/22/36. Max is drawing in graphite with red, yellow, and green pencil highlights; the total image area measures approximately 6" wide by 7" tall, with the number 42 written in the bottom right corner. Toby is in graphite and green pencil, with a nice large image size of 6" wide by 6.5" tall, and has the number 52 written in the bottom right. Fine condition on both.
