Description
Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas Oogie Boogie Storyboard Art Group of 4 (Walt Disney/Touchstone, 1993). Presented are four storyboard sketches depicting Oogie Boogie from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. Oogie Boogie is boisterous and vile with the mannerisms of a showman, as he typically enjoys dancing about his lair and singing jazzy show tunes. A story sketch is the pre-visualization stage of the animation process. Since animation itself is more about visuals than words, story sketches, are useful as visual expressions of the story/script. It helps to visualize the story, which can later be converted into a storyboard. These four sketches contain 16 panels from the sequence seen in the film beginning around the 48: 45 mark. The artwork was created by Disney storyboard artist Jorgen Klubien using pen and marker on 8.5" x 11" sheets. Artwork condition is Fine.Auction Info
