    Tim Burton "Mod Girl in White Go-Go Boots" Illustration (c. 1978-80). When Tim Burton was in Cal Arts, he made two short animated films: Stalk of the Celery Monster and King and Octopus. These films caught the attention of Walt Disney Studios, and he was hired by Walt Disney Feature Animation. His extensive art and film career was shown in a retrospective show at the MOMA, in New York City, in 2009. It has traveled worldwide with the last stop being in Hong Kong in 2017. This is a very rare original piece of artwork from one of his sketchbooks. This "Mod Girl in White Go-Go Boots" is done in mixed media of ink, watercolor, and marker, with a great image size of 11". You can see similar paper with same edges in the MOMA book of his Art Exhibit. Matted with an opening of 9.5" x 12.5" and framed with glass for an overall size of 15.5" x 19.5". Unsigned. Tim Burton original artwork of this nature is considered very rare. Frame is sold as-is; artwork condition is Very Good with minor handling wear.
