    Tim Burton "Girl in a Little Black Dress" Illustration (c. 1978-80). Tim Burton went to Burbank High School. It was said his boyhood heroes included Dr. Seuss and Roald Dahl. He went to the California Institute of Arts in Valencia, California; from there, he was hired by Walt Disney Studios. In 2009, an exhibit of over 700 pieces of his artwork premiered at the Museum of Modern Art, in New York City. The collection included drawings, paintings, photos, storyboards, puppets, maquettes, costumes, and personal ephemera. This exhibit has traveled worldwide since its premiere. This is a rare Tim Burton original artwork of a "Girl in a Little Black Dress," rendered in ink and color marker on paper. Nice large image, measuring 12". Unsigned; from the personal collection of a former college roommate. Matted with an opening of 8.5" x 12" and framed using Plexiglas for an overall size of 14" x 17". Very Good condition.
