Thru the Mirror Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing Sequence of 3 (Walt Disney, 1936). Mickey falls asleep while reading the Lewis Carroll novel The Looking-Glass. He dreams himself as a character in the book. It should be noted the movie poster for this book had the title as "Through the Mirror," This is a rare sequence of three original 12 field 5-peghole studio animation drawings of Mickey being pelted with diamonds, spades, hearts, and clubs by the playing cards that are chasing him. You can see this sequence at about the 7:37 mark into the short. He escapes the cards by turning on a table-top fan! This magnificent short was directed by David Hand and was released on 5/30/36. Nice action images of Mickey, with a size of 5". This is the only time we have seen a sequence of drawings offered up from this short. Minor handling and edge wear; Fine condition.
