Three Wise Men Christmas Card Illustration Signed by Ralph Hulett (c. 1950s). The Three Wise Men bear gifts for the newborn Jesus Christ in this fantastic original Christmas card illustration by celebrated Disney background artist Ralph Hulett (1915 - 1974). This large illustration (measuring a substantial 12" x 16") offers a stylized depiction of the Three Wise Men, rendered in vibrant strokes of goauche on Crescent illustration board. Ralph Hulett was a long-time background artist and art director for Walt Disney, known for his work on such films as Make Mine Music, Song of the South, Melody Time, Cinderella, Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp, Sleeping Beauty, 101 Dalmations, and The Jungle Book. Signed by the artist in the lower right corner, this painting shows minor handling and edge wear with pinholes in the upper corners, and the condition is Very Good.Auction Info
