Description
The Worm Turns Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1937). Mickey becomes a mad scientist in this spectacular animation drawing from the 1937 theatrical short The Worm Turns. It was directed by Ben Sharpsteen (1895 - 1980) and was primarily made to test laboratory scene effects for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The full figure 12 field 5-peghole drawing shows Mickey's elated reaction to finding that his 'Courage Boulder' potion works after testing it on a fly trapped in a spider's web. This can be found at around the 2:50 mark. The graphite drawing measures about 4.75'' x 5.5'' and is displayed in a 11'' x 9.5'' mat. The frame measures 16.5'' x 15''. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. Light age-related toning with minor handling wear. Superficial wrinkles and faint smudges. Very Good condition overall.Auction Info
