DescriptionThe Whoopee Party Mickey Mouse Animation Drawings Group of 4 (Walt Disney, 1932). Mickey and Minnie throw a wild party in this early Wilfred Jackson-directed short. In one scene, Mickey grabs a pair of xylophone mallets to play bottles tied to a clothesline. You can find this cartoon online and see Mickey play, at the 5:41 mark within the cartoon. This unusual lot includes four original 12 field animation drawings, one of which displays the above-mentioned scene. The remaining three drawings appear as if they were meant to be the beginning of that sequence; they show a full-figured Mickey with the two xylophone mallets in one hand. These drawings are numbered 2, 4, and 21; Mickey's figure size is 3" to 3.25" in the graphite images, one with red pencil underdrawings. The drawing of Mickey at play is numbered 23, and Mickey's figure size is 3.5"; it's in graphite with blue pencil highlights. All four display mild paper toning and minor handling wear. Overall condition is Very Good.
