Description

The Whoopee Party Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1932). When Mickey and his friends have a lively house party, Minnie impresses their guests with the piano. Mickey? He improvises and makes instruments out of a few hanging bottles and mouse traps. This marvelous 12-field animation drawing can be found at approximately 5:44 in the 1932 short as Mickey begins to play on a few bottles, a wide smile on his face. This Great Depression-era short was directed by Burt Gillett and Wilfred-Jackson, marking the second appearance of Goofy's earlier counterpart Dippy Dawg. The full-figure mouse is rendered in graphite with color pencil highlights on the bottles. The drawing measures about 6.25'' x 4.5'' and is centered on the paper, numbering 30 in the lower right corner. This musical mouse is in Very Good condition with only some age-related toning and minor edge and handling wear. It's a great opportunity to add one of the earlier Mickey Mouse shorts to your collection!
