Description

The Whoopee Party Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing Sequence of 4 (Walt Disney, 1932). In this wild sequence of four original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings, party host Mickey slices up a ham to music, as if he was playing the ham like a violin! The Whoopee Party was directed by Wilfred Jackson and was about a fun-filled, crazy party Mickey and Minnie hosted with their friends. Mickey, Goofy (aka Dippy Dawg), and Horace Horsecollar are tasked with preparing refreshments for everyone as Mickey readies the meat for the sandwiches. This sequence begins with drawing #8, seen at about the 1:26 timestamp, with an approximate image size of 3.75" x 4.5"; next is drawing #11 from 1:28 with an image size of 3.5" x 4.75". The last two drawings are at the 1:29 mark and include #17 with a size of 4.75" x 3" (with a rough second Mickey head in the upper right) and #20 which mentions animator Hamilton Luske in the upper right and includes a small light stain in the corner, image size 4.75" x 3.25". The art is in overall Very Good condition with minor handling and edge wear, and some mild age-related paper toning.
