Description
The Waltons Consumer Product Illustration Original Art (Lorimar, c. 1970s). The large cast of this much-loved family drama are drawn on the porch of their Walton's Mountain home. The show starred Richard Thomas as John-Boy, Ralph Waite as John Walton Sr., Michael Learned as mother Olivia, Will Geer as Grandpa, and Ellen Corby as Grandma. The art is in ink over graphite on illustration board measuring 18.5" x 9", with an approximate image size of 16" x 6.75". We're not 100% sure this was ever used, as John-Boy's facial features are not well defined, but this may have been corrected during production; Olivia's head image was redrawn and added by paste-up. The art could have been intended for clothing, toys, books, and other consumer products. Condition is Very Good with minor handling and edge wear.Auction Info
