DescriptionThe Three Little Wolves Original Animation Layout Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1936).
This is the third Three Little Pigs - Silly Symphony short. It introduced the Big Bad Wolf's, three little wolfs. It was directed by David Hand and released on 4/18/36. This is a pair of outstanding studio layout drawings of the Practical Pig's plans for the "Wolf Pacifier". These plans can be seen at the 1:53 mark after the two pigs sound another false wolf alarm. The second layout is the Wolf, still in his "Little Po Peep" disguise outfit, going through the torture of the "Wolf Pacifier". This scene can be seen between the 7:55 - 8:09 mark into the short. This short had some subtle German War propaganda references. These detailed layouts are both on 12 field, 5-peghole animation paper in graphite with red highlights. Both are in mats of 16.5" x 14" with mat openings of 12" x 10". Minor handling and edge wear, overall condition is Very Good.
