    The Robber Kitten Ambrose and Dirty Bill Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1935). Superb pair of 12 field 2-peghole animation production drawings of the chief characters from this David Hand-directed Silly Symphony short, which was released on 4/20/35. Ambrose, the kitten who wanted to be known as "Butch" the dashing robber, is drawn in graphite with nice red and green highlights, and an image area of 4.5", including his pop guns; the drawing is marked 61 in the lower right corner. The second drawing features a large image of Dirty Bill, who winds up scaring Ambrose straight; drawn in graphite, with an overall size of 9" x 8". He practically fills the page, which is marked "9" in the lower right. Slight handling wear; overall Fine condition.
