The Prince and the Pauper Pete Animation Drawing Group (Walt Disney, 1990). "I live to serve..." snarls Pete, just as he launches the Prince (who happens to look exactly like Mickey) out of a catapult. Nowadays, it is unusual to see a cartoon aimed at children depicting a character smoking, but at the time of this film's production, a ban in animated film was still a few years off. Pete is never without a cigar in this short and is constantly sending both "Mickeys" into coughing fits by blowing smoke into their faces. Three large drawings of Pete measure at 9" each and are rendered in graphite and blue pencil. In Fine condition.
