The Big Bad Wolf has captured Practical Pig's brothers in this classic and much loved Dick Rickard-directed short, the last to follow the Three Pigs and the second-to-last Silly Symphony. This tense moment can be found at about 4:32, capturing Practical's reaction to this not-so-secret letter from the Big Bad Wolf. He literally jumps into action to rescue his brothers in this graphite with color pencil 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing, the letter that reads 'Dear bro, we are in trouble, please cum and help us' falling to the floor. This expressive full-figure drawing measures about 5.75'' x 5.75'' combined with the letter and is labeled 40 in the lower right corner. Very Good condition with only minor edge and handling wear, light age-related toning, faint wrinkles on the right border, and a small spot on the bottom edge from foxing.
