Description
The Practical Pig Big Bad Wolf Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1939). "Where are my brothers?" exclaims Practical Pig as he interrogates the Big Bad Wolf. You will see this sequence around the 5:00 time-mark where the wolf is confined to an elaborate lie detector machine. This Silly Symphony shorts was the fourth and last to star the Three Little Pigs. It was directed by Dick Rickard, and released on 2/24/39 with animation by Preston Blair, Ollie Johnston, Frank Thomas, and John Lounsbery. This is a very rare 12 field, 5-peghole animation drawing of the Big Bad Wolf numbered 89 in the lower right. The 6" x 6.5" full-figure image is rendered in graphite with red pencil highlights. Great action in this production pie featuring an early recurring Disney villain.
