Description
The Pink Panther Show "Pink Sphinx" Animation Drawing, (DePatie-Freleng, c. 1968) Depicted here is "Honest Abdul," the used-camel salesman making an appearance in the classic Pink Panther short "Pink Sphinx", the 18th episode of the The Pink Panther Show. Notoriously, Pink Panther villains often bore a slight resemblance to creator Friz Freleng, and Abdul here is no exception. He is drawn in graphite with a small red pencil highlight, and the notation "B8" can be seen in the lower right corner. The image is on 12 field 3-peghole paper, and the drawing is approximately 4.5" x 4.75". The paper shows handling with slight creases in the paper throughout, and along the edges can be seen slight wear and paper toning. Condition is Good.Auction Info
