DescriptionThe Pet Store Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse with Beppo the Ape Animation Drawings Sequence of 4 (Walt Disney, 1932). Minnie visits Mickey, who has just been hired at Tony's Pet Store. Inside his cage is Beppo the Movie Monk, an ape who likes to impersonate Hollywood stars; when he sees a photo of King Kong, he breaks out and grabs Mickey and Minnie. That's the setting for this sequence of four original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings. The cartoon was directed by Wilfred Jackson, and released on 10/28/32. Three drawings show Beppo as he approaches Mickey and Minnie; these are drawings numbered 115 (image size 4" x 5.25"), #136 (4.5" x 6"), and #151 (6.25" x 6"). Drawing #189A shows Beppo as he picks up Mickey and Minnie (10.5" x 6"). You can see this sequence at the 4:57 mark, ending at 5:00. Two of the Beppo drawings have reinforced pegholes; all have minor toning and handling wear. Very Good overall condition.
